50cincuenta1,000mil
100cien2,000dos mil

From 31 up, you add y (“and”): treinta y cinco is 35. One hundred is cien, but 101 to 199 use ciento: ciento veinte is 120.

Watch the punctuation. Spain and much of South America write a thousand as 1.000 and a decimal as 2,50. Mexico writes them the English way, 1,000 and 2.50.
